  1. Quick Start

  3. Install MacTCP (-:
  4.  
  5. Put an alias to Talkd in your Startup Folder, and launch it.
  6. Put an alias to Talk somewhere useful, and launch it.
  7.    Set the Preferences via the Preferences menu, and click Save.
  8.    Choose Talk from the File menu and type in the recipients name, click Talk.
  9.    Choose Show Status from the File menu and watch the connection progress.
  10.    Wait until the person answers and a talk window appears.  Your type into 
  11.       one half of the window and they type into the other half.
  12.    Save the Talk menu with the Save Menu command.
  13. You can quit Talk. Talkd will alert you when an incoming talk request arrives.
  14. To respond just run Talk again.
